AI training & workshops

Who offers AI training workshops for small businesses in the Lakes Region of NH?

I do — I'm Karen Boutwell, and my company NovaLogic IT runs hands-on AI training workshops for small businesses across the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Sessions range from 60–90 minute lunch-and-learns to multi-session programs, and every one is built around your industry and your team's actual workflows — not a generic slideshow.

Is there anyone near Laconia NH who teaches employees how to actually use AI?

Yes — I'm right here in the Lakes Region, and teaching people to actually use AI is the heart of what I do. I'm a college IT instructor as well as a working technology consultant, so my sessions are hands-on: your team practices with real tools on real tasks from their own workday and leaves with skills they can use the next morning.

My team is nervous about AI. Do you work with beginners?

Beginners are my favorite audience. My whole practice is built on one belief: no one should feel small for not knowing something about technology. Sessions move at your team's pace, in plain English, with no judgment and no jargon — and the skeptics in the room are welcome, because healthy skepticism makes for better AI habits anyway.

IT support & consulting

Who can help a New Hampshire business or school manage Apple devices with Mosyle?

That's my deepest specialty. I have 17 years of IT experience with a focus on Apple device management, including Mosyle MDM for schools and small businesses — deployment, security settings, app management, and the day-to-day upkeep that keeps a fleet of Macs and iPads running without drama.

Do you support both Mac and Windows?

Yes, fluently. Most offices run a mix of platforms, so I work across macOS, iOS, and Windows every day — nothing in your office gets labeled "not my department."

What are virtual IT director services?

It's ongoing managed IT for businesses that need an IT department without hiring one. For a flat monthly retainer, I watch over your devices, security, and backups, handle your team's questions, and plan ahead so technology decisions stop landing on your desk. You get the steady presence of an IT director without the payroll line.

Working with me

Is the first consultation really free?

Really. Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute conversation — no pressure, no sales pitch, just an honest look at where your technology stands and whether I'm the right fit to help. If I'm not, I'll tell you that too.

What areas do you serve?

I'm based in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and work with businesses, schools, and organizations throughout the region — Laconia, Gilford, Meredith, Tilton, Franklin, and the surrounding towns — plus the greater Concord area. AI training and workshops are also available virtually, so distance is never a dealbreaker.

How do I get started?

Book a free 30-minute conversation — that's it. We'll talk about your business, your team, and what's frustrating you about technology, and you'll leave the call with at least one useful next step whether we work together or not.
