About
Hi, I'm Karen Boutwell.
Technology partner for Lakes Region small businesses
I'm a technology partner for small businesses across the Lakes Region of New Hampshire — which really just means I look after the technology so you don't have to. I've spent thirteen years doing this work: managing Apple device fleets, keeping Google Workspace and a handful of other tools running smoothly, and sitting beside people while they learn how to make their tools actually work for them. I have a Master of Science in Information Systems Management to back it up, and the part of my background that probably matters most is the teaching.
I'm a college instructor and workforce educator, and I spend a good part of my week explaining technology in plain, practical language — for students, working professionals, and anyone who's ever stared at a screen and thought, "this shouldn't be this hard."
Your neighbors are already in my classroom.
I started NovaLogic IT because I kept watching the same story play out across our region: small businesses stuck with reactive IT, no real strategy, and technology that was supposed to make life easier but mostly just caused stress. I built this practice to change that — to give local businesses the kind of steady, thoughtful technology support that used to be reserved for companies big enough to have a whole IT department of their own.
